AGENT TRACY CHRISTIAN AND JED ROOT CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF THEIR NEW AGENCY, TCA JED ROOT
(LOS ANGELES, CA) April 13, 2012 – Respected talent agent Tracy Christian and renowned beauty, fashion and luxury agent Jed Root celebrated the opening of TCA Jed Root with friends, film and television executives and clients at the London Hotel on April 12th.
Clients in attendance included Tatyana Ali (“Love That Girl”), Lester Speight (“Transformers 3”), Jamie Hector (“The Wire”) and Toccara Jones (“America’s Next Top Model”).
Officially opened in January 2012, TCA Jed Root is a selective boutique talent agency servicing actors and producers. The agency also specializes in developing beauty and lifestyle brands.
“Our philosophy at TCA Jed Root is simple: pick up the phone – don’t wait for it to ring. Concentrate on shaping careers, instead of just moving clients from job to job. Lastly, it’s important to have fun! We only take on clients we’re passionate about. Both Jed and I love what we do,” Christian said.
Christian has nearly 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry and is a veteran of both Peter Strain and Associates and Don Buchwald and Associates. Throughout her career, she has worked with some of the most prolific Oscar winners and nominees. Root is a respected entrepreneur with offices in Tokyo, Paris, London, New York and now Los Angeles. Christian and Root first came together as agent and client, found they spoke the same language, shared a similar aesthetic and launched TCA Jed Root.
TCA Jed Root television projects include, “Kandi Factory” (Bravo)” and “Love and Hip Hop” (Vh1). The company’s clients include personalities on “Housewives of Atlanta” (Bravo), “What Not to Wear” (TLC), “Jerseylicious” (Style), “Basketball Wives” (Vh1) and actors such as Busta Rhymes, Jamie Hector, Tatyana Ali, and many more.
