The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences last evening awarded Actor/Writer/Director Shawn Christensen’s film CURFEW  for Best Live-Action Short.  Shawn wrote, directed and was the lead actor of CURFEW. Shawn Christensen's CURFEW Nominated for Oscar Award For Best Live-Action Short

We are very pleased to announce that our sister company TCA Jed Root has an Oscar nominated client after being open for barely a year!  The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has  announced that Actor/Writer/Director Shawn Christensen’s film CURFEW has been nominated for Best Live-Action Short.  Shawn wrote, directed and was the lead actor of CURFEW.  DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT:
    "The idea for “Curfew” began a few years ago, when I struck up a conversation with a nine-year old girl, and then quickly realized that in many ways, she was much smarter than me. Children at that age absorb so much information, and they do it with such an imbued energy, that it can be awe-inspiring. Adults, by far and wide, become jaded as they get older, and I'm no exception. I liked the idea of exploring these two people – a young child full of life, and an adult, who is drained of life but still has an inner child buried somewhere deep inside him...
