Photographer Finlay MacKay travelled to Pakistan for 3 weeks following Politician Imran Khan, and it seems that getting an intimate photo was harder than first expected:
"So documenting Khan at political rallies in Pakistan, where audiences sometimes numbered in the tens of thousands, was a departure for him. He quickly discovered he’d need to change his tactics in an environment where access was anything but guaranteed. At the first rally in Abbottabad, MacKay was nearly crushed trying to get near Khan on the makeshift stage. Seeing that he couldn’t get close enough to photograph his subject, he instead turned his camera on the throng of supporters."
