Lisa Houghton, sponsored by MAC Cosmetics headed the Peter Pilotto A/W 2010
Peter Pilotto's collection was inspired by a combination of architecture, 1970's interiors, modern sculpture, and Mother Nature. The clothes expressed the relationship between the natural and the man-made world.
Lisa describes how she created the make-up look inspired by the collection;
“The palette of orange, red & brown with the texture combinations in this seasons Peter Pilotto collection reminded me of a beautiful picture I had seen in August's issue of Traveler published
by Conde Nast. I was captivated by Marco Paoluzzo's photograph taken in the Ethiopian landscape of a lone child walking along a dirt road of ochre and sandy brown textures illuminated by an intense sky of moody grey and lavender blue.
I translated this into make-up design using a soft terracotta brown in the lower lash line, a wash of orchre on the eyelid and upper eye finished off with a deep stream of vivid blue in the crease line with lots of mascara. To complete the look I used taupe on the cheeks and a light clay brown on the lips.”
This is Houghton's second season working with the Peter Pilotto Collection

great make-up job, very earthy and natural
